China Hosts A Training for African Again

The second Training Seminar on China-Africa CITES Implementation and Wildlife Conservation started on 24 September 2014 in Hangzhou in eastern China. A total of 24 participants from Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, South Sudan, Sudan, Uganda and Zimbabwe are attending the workshop. 
They will be trained in wildlife conservation, nature reserve development, implementation of CITES and the combat of wildlife crime in the following 3 weeks. Furthermore, during this training period they will also discuss the strategy and methods for combating wildlife crime, learn about the wildlife conservation in the provinces of Zhejiang and Sichuan through field visit. It is the second time that China holds such training seminar for wildlife conservation and CITES implementation officers from African countries.
